Internship
Nishat Chunian Textile Mills was my second assignment as internee where I was able to relate past experience and theoretical knowledge in production facility.
In Nishat Chunian I was part of maintenance team where I experienced daily faults and their rectification protocols.
• Load calculation and Selection of motor
• Operational controls and schemes
• Protection of electric motor
• Fault diagnosing and rectification
Nishat Chunian has self-generation power plant of capacity 200 MW where I also spent some time to learn operation and control of plants.
• Switchgears working
• Process Variables (Flow, Pressure, Temp etc.)
• Fuel consumption
• Safeties, faults and procedures for rectification
• Per unit cost calculations and billing
Internship
I was the part of DESCON Engineering Ltd. for one month as an “Internee” where I got exposure to professional environment and safe working procedures in addition of listed technical assignments:
• Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
• Control Systems
• Boiler Working, designing and auxiliaries
• Single line diagram of distribution network
